Chili Cookoff - Jan 25: Click HERE to enter your chili in the annual chili cookoff at Bogart’s Entertainment Center in Apple Valley and click HERE to donate a silent auction item. Event starts at 12:00 PM. Judging will finish by 1:00 PM and then ‘bottomless’ bowls of chili will be sold for $10 each. All proceeds go to Rosemount Beyond the Yellow Ribbon and Apple Valley Beyond the Yellow Ribbon to support military families in our respective communities. Military Family Bowling - Mar 15: Military families will come here to sign up for a free bowling session at Bogart’s Entertainment Center on March 15, hosted by Rosemount Beyond the Yellow Ribbon.
Rosemount Expo - Apr 18: Members of Rosemount Beyond the Yellow Ribbon will come here to sign up for booth duty at the April 18 Rosemount Expo that will be held at the Rosemount Community Center.
Pizza and Pasta fundraiser - Apr 20: Volunteers will sign up here to help with our Spring pizza and pasta fundraiser at Fireside Restaurant in Rosemount. Tickets for this buffet pizza and pasta dinner will be sold by members of Rosemount Beyond the Yellow Ribbon and will be available for sale at the door.
BTYR State-wide Annual Workshop - Apr 23: Several members of Rosemount Beyond the Yellow Ribbon will sign up here to participate in this state-wide Beyond the Yellow Ribbon annual workshop in Arden Hills.
Chamber of Commerce Coffee Break - May 26: Several members of Rosemount Beyond the Yellow Ribbon will sign up here to act as hosts for our sponsored coffee break with the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce member businesses and organizations.
RHS Military Graduate ceremony - May TBD: The public is invited to attend the ceremony for the Rosemount High School students who sign up to serve their country.
Patriots in the Park - Jun 9: A signup will be provided here for 30 volunteers to serve a 2-hour shift at our Patriots in the Park event on Tuesday, June 9 (5:00p to 9:00p) in Rosemount Central Park.
Rosemount Fire Department meal - Jun TBD: Several members of Rosemount Beyond the Yellow Ribbon will sign up here to serve a meal to our local fire department at Rosemount Fire Station #2.
Rosemount Police Department meal - Jul TBD: Several members of Rosemount Beyond the Yellow Ribbon will sign up here to serve a meal to our local fire police force at the Rosemount police department.
Dakota County Fair - Aug 8: Four volunteers will be needed to sign up for booth duty at the Dakota County Fair in the Dakota County Fairgrounds.
Salute Our Troops golf tournament - Aug 10: A signup will be provided here for 30 volunteers to assist at our annual charitable golf tournament on Monday, August 10 at the Cannon Golf Club in Cannon Falls.
Military Retirement Appreciation Day - Aug 15: Several members of Rosemount Beyond the Yellow Ribbon will participate in this event at the Rosemount Community Center.
Rosemount Leprechaun Days - Jul 24-25: A signup will be provided here for members of Rosemount Beyond the Yellow Ribbon to sign up for booth duty at Leprechaun Days in Rosemount Central Park.
Chamber of Commerce Happy Hour - Oct 21: Several members of Rosemount Beyond the Yellow Ribbon will sign up here to act as hosts for our sponsored happy hour with the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce member businesses and organizations at Fireside Restaurant in Rosemount.
Call of BREWty - Oct TBD: Currently serving and veteran military service members will be invited to join us for a brew at Omni Winery & Taproom in Rosemount. Everyone has a chance to win raffle prizes.

National Guard Thanksgiving meal shopping - Nov 3: A signup will be provided here for 6 volunteers to help us shop for and pack Thankgiving meals for 25 National Guard families at Walmart. We pay for all the items.
Veterans Day banquet - Nov 15: Veterans and their guests will sign up here to attend our Veterans Day banquet at the Rosemount Community Center.
Military Night @ Rosemount HS hockey - Nov tbd: Several members of Rosemount Beyond the Yellow Ribbon will sign up here for booth duty for military recognition night during the Rosemount High School girls hockey games at the Rosemount Community Center.
National Guard Christmas meal shopping - Dec 8: A signup will be provided here for 6 volunteers to help us shop for and pack Christmas meals for 25 National Guard families at Walmart. We pay for all the items
Heroes and Helpers - Dec TBD: A signup will be provided here for 25 volunteers to join us at Hosanna Church in Rosemount to help us wrap holiday gifts for deserving local youth who will return from shopping with their ‘hero’ (police and fire).
Monthly Meetings
Join the 15 to 20 people who participate in our monthly planning meetings. We love hosting visitors who will hear about the most recent services that we have provided to military families in in addition to learning about all of the plans, activities, and opportunities for involvment that this active group is undertaking.
We meet at 7:00p on the first Monday of each month at the Rosemount Steeple Center (room 200). We run a tight ship with a fast agenda and with many opportunities to get involved.
